Due to an overseas schedule, CEO Haejin Joel Park delivered his presentation and interview online instead of appearing on-site. Organizers arranged this meetup as part of the ‘2026 Incheon Startup Park Operational Project Global Accelerating and UKC Participation Support Program’, aiming to inform overseas media about participating companies’ products and technologies in advance for global markets while expanding business opportunities. Selected for this program, FLYTO will participate in the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Symposium (IES) startup pitching contest at UKC 2026 (US-Korea Conference, hosted by the US-Korea Conference / KSEA) held in Orlando, Florida, US, this August.
Established in 2024, FLYTO is an aviation deep-tech enterprise developing flight simulators and flight data-based flight simulation technology. The company aims to build simulation infrastructure required across the aviation industry, including pilot training, aircraft performance validation, maintenance training, air traffic control integration, and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) operation validation. Located at Incheon Startup Park, the headquarters houses a team holding over 20 years of aviation experience.

Real flight testing requires aircraft, pilots, airspace, insurance, engineering teams, and suitable weather conditions simultaneously, creating massive costs, difficulty in repeating identical conditions, and lengthy preparation periods. A single failure leads to investigations, re-tests, and delays in resuming operations. In fact, flying an empirical test aircraft once in South Korea costs approximately 300 million KRW. Worldwide, over 450 developers build more than 1,100 eVTOL concepts, but validation capabilities fail to keep pace, while analysts project the AAM market to reach a scale of about 137 billion USD in 2035.
FLYTO resolves this issue with a single integrated platform and a unified validation workflow. Collecting real flight data—such as speed, attitude, altitude, control inputs, and engine status—from actual aircraft using its self-developed FDAU (Flight Data Acquisition Unit), the company transforms it into a flight dynamics engine that reflects the unique characteristics of each aircraft. Then it validates operation scenarios in a 3D digital twin environment reproducing terrain, cities, airports, and vertiports. Testing conditions that prove difficult to repeat in actual flights—such as urban low-altitude flights, vertiport approaches, emergencies, route deviations, weather changes, and air traffic control delays—dozens or hundreds of times in virtual environments reduces costs and risks of real flight testing. Its core product is ‘VeriAero’, a validation package connecting data collection, model building, virtual scenario validation, and traceable validation evidence generation.

FLYTO grew into an educational simulator specialist company, supplying training simulators to aviation training institutions such as the Korea National University of Transportation, while delivering Boeing 737NG operational check MRO simulators. Within one year of establishment, the company achieved revenue of approximately 300,000 USD and attracted 350,000 USD in seed investment domestically. In terms of technology and certifications, the company holds two registered patents, one patent application, one PCT application, and one defense technology transfer, while securing ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications alongside an affiliated research institute and venture enterprise certification.
Overseas expansion accelerates in earnest as well. FLYTO signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with enterprises and institutions across more than five regions—including the US, India, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Hong Kong—promoting flight simulations, UAM/eVTOL operation validation, aviation training education, and local parts supply or joint development. In the US, the company collaborates with partner Peniel Infrastructure across UAM flight simulation, vertiport operations, and Advanced Air Mobility infrastructure fields, while preparing additional collaborations with TRANSWORLD in Dubai and RUILI AIRLINE in China. The company designated the US as a hub for securing global credibility, such as FAA certifications; the Middle East and UAE as a hub for Advanced Air Mobility and smart city commercialization; and Southeast Asia as a hub for expanding aviation training education markets.
